The Series 4 Winter Treasure Hunt sends Forza Horizon 6 players to the Ohtani region, where a hidden chest is waiting underneath Matsumi Great Bridge. It is a useful stop for anyone collecting FH6 Credits, especially because the reward comes without requiring a difficult race or complicated seasonal challenge.

At first, the location can be slightly confusing because the bridge dominates the map and the chest is not placed on the obvious road. U4N players and regular Festival Playlist runners alike can save time by heading straight for the lower dirt path instead of searching around the main overpass.

Finding Ohtani on the Map

Begin by opening the world map and looking northwest of Tokyo City. The Ohtani region sits toward the western-central side of the map.

Once you have located Ohtani, move your attention toward the southern portion of the region. Matsumi Great Bridge is the main landmark you need to identify, with Matsumi Curve speed zone located nearby.

Using these landmarks is easier than trying to follow the Treasure Hunt area blindly. Zoom in around the bridge and look for the road network underneath it.

The Chest Is Not on the Overpass

The most important detail of this Treasure Hunt is the elevation. If you remain on the paved bridge, you are looking in the wrong place.

The chest is hidden underneath Matsumi Great Bridge, along a dirt road at the lower level. This road has an orange checkered appearance and can also be represented by a white dotted route on the map.

Once you spot the lower road, get your car down there. You can approach it naturally from the surrounding roads or use fast travel to reach a convenient nearby location.

Following the Correct Dirt Road

When you arrive underneath the bridge, follow the dirt path toward the northern side of the underpass. There is no reason to drive deep into the wider Ohtani region.

The bridge's concrete support pillars are the best visual reference. As you move along the road, watch the snowy hillside around these supports.

The wooden Horizon Festival chest is positioned beside one of the main concrete pillars. It is not sitting directly in the middle of the dirt road, so players moving too quickly may pass it without noticing.

Slow Down Near the Pillars

There is no special puzzle involved once you reach the correct area. The difficulty mainly comes from spotting the chest against the snowy landscape.

When you get close to the bridge supports, reduce your speed and look around the base of the hillside. The wooden design of the chest should stand out once you are in the right position.

You can then drive directly into it. There is no need to interact with a menu or complete another objective after reaching the chest.

Vehicle Requirements

The Treasure Hunt does not impose a specific vehicle restriction. That means you are free to use the car you already have equipped.

An off-road-focused vehicle can make the dirt section more comfortable, but there is no requirement to bring one. A normal road car can also reach the area as long as you approach the lower path correctly.

This is helpful for players who want to complete the activity without interrupting their current Festival Playlist setup.

What the Chest Gives You

Smashing the chest provides 100,000 Credits and 3 Festival Playlist Points. The Credit reward is particularly useful for players who are still expanding their collection or saving for more expensive cars and upgrades.

The three Playlist Points also contribute directly to seasonal progress. Because the activity is short once you know the location, it can be a convenient addition to a Winter session.

There is no complicated preparation involved, so you can treat this as a quick reward run between other seasonal activities.

A Quick Route for Repeat Reference

The easiest route to remember is Ohtani first, followed by Matsumi Great Bridge. Once you reach the bridge, do not search the paved surface. Drop down to the orange checkered dirt road underneath it.

Drive toward the northern side of the underpass and look around the snowy hillside beside the concrete support pillars. The chest should be close to one of them.

That route eliminates most of the unnecessary searching. Instead of circling the bridge, you can focus on the lower road immediately and finish the Treasure Hunt in a short amount of time.

Making the Most of the Winter Season

For players trying to make steady progress through the Winter Festival Playlist, this Treasure Hunt is a simple source of both Credits and points. If you are short on time, knowing the exact area is more valuable than having a specially prepared car.

For those looking for additional progression options, cheap Forza Horizon 6 Boosting may be another consideration, but the Ohtani chest itself can be completed entirely through normal gameplay with any suitable vehicle.
