Сделал всё как было сказано при установке и все ровно пишет эту ошибку "OpenAL: Can't create sound device" , я пробовал установить с официального сайта , но не помогло . Переустанавливал игру - не помогло . Ищу с утра на разных форумах ищу такую ошибку и ничего не могу найти , а решение ошибки только одно - "Обновите или скачайте OpenAL" .(Антивирус выкл. , после установки перезагружал ) У меня такое чувство что игра не видет программу или наоборот. Пожалуйста кто разбирается в этом , подскажите что сделать ?

    Скачал патч 1.4, OpenAL, DirectX, все это тоже установил. Игра запускается, но вылетает на этапе загрузки (новая игра - сложность - загрузка - вылет) с патчем 1.5 то же самое как исправить?

    Народ, я понимаю, что я цифровая бестолочь. Скачал, установил. выдало ошибку " OpenAL: Can't create sound device", переустановил (все галочки стоят), запускаю, опять "OpenAL: Can't create sound device". Скачал этот прости господи OpenAL, установил его отдельно - и снова "OpenAL: Can't create sound device". Есть мысли, как это исправляется?

    Althero расскажите, пожалуйста, или поделитесь ссылкой как установили TS на steam deck. Я скачал с торрента, все распаковал на деке, при запуске говорит OpenAl can't create sound device. OpenAl скачал с офф сайта, установил - не помогло, с игрой который шел тоже устанавливал, не помогло. Через ProtonTricks устанавливал OpenAl runtimes - то же не помогло

    Лог внятно не говорит, что за проблема. Посоветую стандартный уже совет (отсебятину): 1) снести установленный сталк. 2) снести установленный OpenAL 3) переустановить сталк в c:\games\TS если есть диск, более быстрый чем с, то на него. Типа в d:\games\TS во время установки комп не перезагружать, отмечать все галки кроме рекламного использования bing 4) Перезагрузить 5) Запускать, если глюк или вылет, то запускать от Админа 6) Если ругань на OpenAL - найти в инете, скачать и установить OpenAL 7) В настройках нельзя выбирать полноэкранный режим, остальное по вкусу и возможностям системы. 8) Если по прежнему глюкавит, то обновить дрова на видеокарту и 8-2) стереть c:\Games\TS\userdata\shaders_cache_ts\ 8-3) стереть TS\userdata\user.ltx 8-4) понизить/повысить рендер Dx11 <-> Dx10

    По 5 пункту вылезает ошибка . 5) Если у вас ошибка OpenAL: Can't create sound device - обновите OpenAL. Он есть в установщике мода, вы можете поставить галочку. Я поставил галочку при скачивании , и все ровно вылазит эта ошибка , скачал с офф сайта OpenAL и опять установил , все ровно вылазит.

    У меня когда не было OpenAl игра вылетала сразу после запуска с ярлыка с сообщением что приложение не может найти OpenAl. Как-то так...

    Разработчики, подскажите пожалуйста с проблемой. Установил игру, все как в нотации, патчи все установлены по порядку, OpenAL пришлось ставить с оф сайта т.к. с игрой установленный OpenAl не работал. Игру запустил , все отлично,НО! При захоте в главное меню и нажав на кнопку "Настройки" игра виснет и вылетает. Подскажите как решить вопрос?

    Ага, он есть в виде установщика! А это еще несколько кликов и проблемы совместимости (со старыми версиями openal). И что вам мешало положить openal.dll (там два файла) сразу рядом с исполняемым файлом? Ничего ставить не пришлось бы. У вас все люди были в команде, кроме системщика. Который знает куда что класть и как работать с файлами. Потому так много проблем со свернутыми окнами, проблемы с записью файлов и созданием звуковых устройств. PS: Ну и конечно нормального сценариста тоже нет, который не убивает главных героев. Кстати в игре было аж 6 (или 7) главных героев и ВСЕ (!!!!!) умирают. Только один спасается, причем не за добрые дела, а только если нажмет секретную кнопку. То есть лутай, убивай - все один хрен спасешься, если знаешь кому занести.
