Why does this look better than Stalker 2?

Do any of you Stalker fans enjoy fighting games? I play Street Fighter 6 a lot and I love to watch the world tournaments whenever they play on stream. Very addictive to watch competitive offline plays from around the world. The next big event is in Japan in March. I CAN NOT WAIT!

The one requires a $3000 PC to run while the other only needs a $1000 PC.

The SGM series were the most enjoyable on CoP. So much missions and tasks made this a spectacular series for me.

That is a hefty size patch. That is basically the full game I would think. So much for having a full blown older physical copy I wonder if the physical discs would be updated and people gets replacements due to the scale of this patch

I have yet to purchase this game. I am eagerly awaiting to play this. I hope by the time I buy this, there will be some miracle done on the wonky A-life. The A-life is the most crucial aspect to these Stalker series, so I can understand the lower score by devoted fans here. Having been advertised as having A-life 2.0 and not delivering would greatly affect its ratings. Higher ratings are most likely from new console fans

There was some new news about a mod boasting a 'true 64bit' upgrade to it. I can not remember which mod it was now. I do not believe it though....no xray mod can multicore/true 64bit.

You do have a problem there my friend. You will have to put that card into retirement and sell one of your kidneys. You might get lucky and be able to buy a used 3060 somewhere

I hope modders will be given all the tools to dissect this game. My biggest concern is will we be able to expand the map? I worry that this could be a problem which is why I wished the map were segmented. Only then can modders easily expand the world and edit existing areas. I can not imagine any expansion on the current map without it affecting its overall performance.

From all the negative talk of a lack of Alife, which is one of the top 3 biggest priorities for this game, this trailer should hang its head in shame. This trailer is an embarrassment.

I hope that someone will take the time to add in all the scores of the trilogy and add it into this.

I still have to purchase this Waiting for my next computer upgrade.

I kind of wonder if Alife would have been more possible had the world been segmented like originals. I would not have minded a map with segmented areas that you would have to load from time to time.

What they should have done was make it an option, but would only be required for high end computers. Then they should focus on optimizing it later on. Don't just exclude it altogether. Should have focused less on documentaries and stayed more focused on the main core of the game. Then again, what do I know?

I have not purchased this game yet. However, reading all the negative comments on its lack of alife, and as sad as it is, does not surprise me. A world as vast as this can not support a full blown online and offline smoothly without it affecting cpu performance in my opinion. I believe there was a lot of sacrificing and compromising that had to be considered to get this game out the door. I personally can not imagine this to ever work like it did on our beloved Xray. I hope I am wrong on this and that it can be achieved down the road....time will tell.

I understand this. There there has to be some positives to this game and I would like to read on peoples opinions on the good points. The only negative I am concerned about is the bad AI. However, if they were to fix this, would this make you people 100% satisfied?

I would like to read more positive comments on this from many of you here. I've read a lot of complaints so far on many threads. Do any of you think or hope that this game will have a strong future with the modding community with great replay value?
