What they should have done was make it an option, but would only be required for high end computers. Then they should focus on optimizing it later on. Don't just exclude it altogether. Should have focused less on documentaries and stayed more focused on the main core of the game. Then again, what do I know?

I have not purchased this game yet. However, reading all the negative comments on its lack of alife, and as sad as it is, does not surprise me. A world as vast as this can not support a full blown online and offline smoothly without it affecting cpu performance in my opinion. I believe there was a lot of sacrificing and compromising that had to be considered to get this game out the door. I personally can not imagine this to ever work like it did on our beloved Xray. I hope I am wrong on this and that it can be achieved down the road....time will tell.

I understand this. There there has to be some positives to this game and I would like to read on peoples opinions on the good points. The only negative I am concerned about is the bad AI. However, if they were to fix this, would this make you people 100% satisfied?

I would like to read more positive comments on this from many of you here. I've read a lot of complaints so far on many threads. Do any of you think or hope that this game will have a strong future with the modding community with great replay value?

People, do not be surprised that early mods can break with GSC frequent patches and updates.

I've been reading about the bad AI in this. I'm sure they are aware of this. I believe they had to release a product , in its current state to the Xbox crowd and start generating some sales. Patching things up will have to get done during the sales of this game. I really think they could not afford another set back on its release. Money needed to come in. We must keep our fingers crossed that they will keep to their word on what that advertised this with....

@ian98 We all should understand that this game was to be released with quite a few bugs. It should be expected. Give it time though. There will be patches and fixes down the road as well as superb mods to add more to this game. I believe it will flourish into something big for us.

Modern day games are very complex in design then 30 years ago. Bugs are expected to arise at initial release. QC practically does not exist on many things today. Gaming is certainly one of them. The first purchasers are their quality control, today. We discover the problems, they fix later.

I do not know how your browsers work by you, over here with google chrome, I just simply 'right click' and choose translate for every conversation that is of foreign language. For APpro, I have it set to default translate every time I come to this site. I have VERY few complaints about this here. I just do not understand why it is so hard to simply right click and translate other people. I never have an issue to understand others at Moddb. I try to help whenever I can.

What is sad is that no one complains at Moddb when other cultures register and comment there. I've never said anything negative to another language there. Sad we live in a world of such unnecessary ignorant hate.

Enjoy this game everyone! I hope to read some positive feedback on this. I will have to do my best to hold off until the new year in the hopes to upgrade my system when the RTX5000 series arrive....it will be a tough wait for me =(
