Greetings to everyone in the East from the West. I recently installed Custom and Love...I mean Love the look and feel as it takes me back to SoC when it came out. I am however having a ton of difficulty with the gunplay. This may not be the place to post for help but I have to use Google Translate to even read posts here. Can someone please assist me with these issues I have. Before I get replies about sucking and to get better and so on I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R for the immersion and fun factor. I am having issues with the AI difficulty in regards to them having perfect aim and their site. They instakill me and see me at extreme ranges through objects. I have played with the in game settings without results. Is there a mod in the pack I can disable or download to make it easier? Also the radiation is overwhelming for me. I love everything else though and want to figure this out. Thank you in advance.

You may want to try to remove some of the addons that you do not care for. For me, I never cared for food animations. I do not care to see my legs when walking. How often do you stare at your feet? I don't care for melee or hand guns. Hide out furniture I think is silly. There are quite a bit of things that are novelties that I don't care for. Even remove some of the gun animations you know you never use. Start a new game when removing a lot of addons though. You will need to experiment. Certain things I had to turn back on because of crashes. I am already down to 270 addons with 2 I had included myself. I have an I7 6700K with a 3070 and it performs quite good for me. Not the best, but decent FPS. Good Luck!

I understand that a lot of people are feeling underwhelmed by the look of this game. I understand that it looks like a 2017 game. However, we do need to understand that they are also not Microsoft, Ubisoft or even Epic games....they are a small funded studio in comparison to the top 50 game studios out there. My big concern is the combat and gameplay. I will reserve my judgement until I play this. I remember when this was first announced that it was designed on an Unreal engine and will also be released on the Xbox. I was very upset with these at first. I just have to get over that and move on with acceptance. We have no choice. I know this game will have a cinematic console feel, however...it is still Stalker. My biggest excitement are going to be the mods. I know a lot of people will want to start making all sorts of add ons when they get access to its editor. This is where all the magic will shine for Stalker2. I can't wait to see Boomsticks and Sharpsticks, Expedition or even have some wild Artifact mods. This could have the potential to shift mostly everyone away from the old Xray to a more stable UE5. We all shall see......

Yeah, I still have it on my phone. I don't want to refresh it. Don't want to lose it. I am still trying to figure out on my end. Otherwise i'll just have to go with each and every mod translation on google one at a time. Pain in the ass.

After updating to the latest patch. I did notice that the overall world quality was not as good as before the patch. I did a shader cache purge which did help, but it still does not look as good as before the patch. Very strange. Also, the load times have gotten severely worse for me after the patch. I don't know why but they did get very bad on my end. There is a task that Beard gives you to look at the suspicious mutant activity at the Testing Workshop. In there you will confront Phantoms of Sidorovich and then later, a very large Burer. This is a very, VERY difficult task to accept if you are not prepared. I wished that with tasks like this, Beard would have hinted that I may want to bring a lot of hand grenades. I wished this game had the task provider would give a hint on what to expect in a situation like this by simply suggesting to bring a special weapon or something. With the constant dying and the very long reload times, I ended up using God Mode to finish it. I was very upset.

Remember, prior when Diablo IV was released, there was hours of in game footage on YT for the fans to make, want to purchase the game. If they show less, then they are not confident in their game and would be worried to show more which would result to leading in lesser sales.

Moustapha_Matushka post returned. Some of my haters report it for "flood". Анимации брони in MCM, or in MO2 same. In engine, they are automatically being added when are written in scopes_16 and _21.xml For example, this is how it looks like when this borders are added (highlighted text) in scopes_16.xml: If you want to delete this borders, just delete all this code in specific scope section in this file.

So far I have put over 15 hours of play with no crashes. It has performed quite well considering how great it looks. This newer Anomaly Custom plays more harder than the previous version. The AI is very difficult in this. I like it. I like the new UI as it adds so much 'quality of life' features that makes it very convenient to use. Personally I am very happy that we had stayed with the original models of all NPCs and Mutants. The addons was reduced down to the best ones for stability and less crashing. Good choices here. My one main complaint is the Medical usages. They seem to offer very little benefit while hitting you mostly of its side effects. I guess this was to add a more 'hardcore' level of play until you acquire better suits later? There is a problem still that the Bar has 2 Snitch characters like in the previous Anomaly Custom . I need some help here if anyone can, please. What is the addon that affects you removing your helmet, backpack and those faction patches animations? I want to disable those. Also, if anyone knows, where are the textures for the 'dark side bars' when viewing through your weapon scope? I would appreciate any help on this one too. Thanks!!

Ha! I just downloaded your modpack. Yours definitely looks like it would be more enjoyable with the crazy weapons it has. It also appears like you can make your character build up to godlike equipment. It looks to have quite a bit of variable artifacts which is what I like the most. Bosspack seems to have more content overall. Your modpack I am sure will perform a lot better as well. However, I also really like a visually pleasing and atmospheric world as much. That is where Anomaly Custom shines. Having this built on top of EXPEDITION with all the other visuals makes this a very stunning world to play in. One can not deny that this looks damn good. I'm just loving this visuals. Never knew Xray can be pushed to its limits to look like this. My main question was.....where can I find these addons in the Mods folder here? I want to remove these...... Mutant Parts Quality Ledge Grabbing Advanced Stamina System Melee Degrade Configuration Weapon Cover Tilt GBOOBS Enhanced Recoil Revised I just can't translate all the folders from Russian. ? So many here that I don't understand. If I can start to exclude these from MOD2, my games load times will improve. Boss, I will certainly try yours after I get bored with this =)

OK. I just tried this on Win10 and was able to execute MOD2. Now, I don't see any profiles to view. I want to view all its addons. This I don't understand.

Лучше просто начать играть, разве есть достойные альтернативы?(кроме ЛСК мод-пака, отличное дополнение но не готово ещё тоже). А в оригинал ОП после ОП ОГСР я больше никогда не вернусь. Говорю прямо и честно - это мод (даже на ОБТ версии) лучшее что когда - либо случалось с ОП, единственный минус для меня - так это то что некоторые задания всё равно нужно проходить с гидом, но это в конце будет, и то Разработчик сказал что на релизе исправит всё это. Man, thank's from the bottom of my heart. I want to upgrade my English language skills and to play this game (even if in far future) with on english will be extremely useful for me. Also, it's good for other folk who able (or at least want:D) to speak and understand this world - wide language!

@gibe Don't be sorry, what ever language it is, the most important that's will give to this MOD attention from frenches, and as a result they maybe will donate to the developer of this mod (and of course for you, or at least people will know your work), and that one will show him that's all his work is not for nothing (people want this game, and ready to support), and in the end it will put close the release date:D (which i am waiting so long)

Hello Stalker is like this: when you take 9 steps forward, you then take 10 steps back. I don't see that as a reason to take it out on the people who make these games; I'm a modest translator and I see how much work goes into these modifications, so I make sure that the spirit of the designers isn't betrayed. It's often difficult, but you have to respect the work of others. I've noticed that on this forum, and unfortunately on many other games forums in particular, it's easier to criticise than to do. Congratulations on the release! I'm a STALKER fan from China, our local community have been playing stalker mods for a long time. "True Stalker" is really good and we are trying to localize it so that we can play in our language, like many other mods we played. But we found out that "True Stalker" doesn't seem to fully support multi-byte font like vanilla game SOC, CS or COP. we have to use it since characters in our language is way more than 256. we are using something like follwoing in the font definition. [mb_symbol_coords] height=25 00032= 9, 0, 15, 25 00101= 31, 0, 43, 25 this is how it looks like when I translate some of the strings and use the Chinese font, the English is ok but Chinese characters just disappear. could you please fix this or provide another solution? Thank you! P.S. I'm sorry to post in English, I just want to make my question clear. (people and groups who released mods, standalone versions, since the "complete-era" mods (more than what 10 years now?) anyway, since microsft is spreading like a virus acquiring all companies it can, formatting the next-gen gaming experience to be "cloud-based". e;g: pay monthly subscription, have NO PHYSICAL COPY. (digital ones can be locked, like a cod modernwarfare i had, spent months without even logging on then one day "my account was suspended and get in touch with support" of course, no one would come forward saying: your username had cyrillic characters/your character skin was wearing RF uniform and patch ) - is that even a reason to block the account? all things might be "fancy" and "digital" but that cash certainly wasn't lol. I've found out some ppl were either "having the same issue" (reaching the conclusion that having a "too pro-russian profile in a call of duty game (known for its controversial absurdities regarding "what's considered offensive".... Could i be exageratin? i dunno im not even russian. Nonetheless regardless what i am. its simply ridiculous. i couldn't even download the thing again to play with bots who "wouldn't feel offended by having some army units with patches (unlike the promotion of "women extremists" (very bad attempt at mixing kurdz YPG female fighters in a "moderate rebel" setting in a plot where the protagonist goes AWOL deserts, and join the "not-so-radical" cell) Yeah ive had to go over this complete garbage to just make you think : "Whats more offensive than that?" Well, if you have like a xbox /microsoft account and spent cash in "digital copies" you might one day see realize you've been ripped off (i heard xbox online services will be unavailable for RU. so i guess, if you have a "digital library" its at risk. Why? because some western narrow-minded company (which probably thinks the "anomalies, experiments and secret labs" in stalker series are fictional versions of "the real secret labs undergoing secret off the record research" ? LOL not that there was a NOVEL a 3 hour philosophical-thought-provoking movie with no "western merceneries nor secret labs" but based on the chelyabinsk meteorite incident... not even the NPP itself has to do with the original story has it? but it wouldn't prevent them from stealing it. Playing some of the recent stalker mods. i can't help but notice how many scripts/animations stuff from metro series had been used. Aren't outcome: someone will get really mad at this evil business model. Especially because some companies in the early 2000s went bankrupt due to the "dotnet bubble" (caused by the same microsoft hoarders, the "Embracer" group ) Thats why definitely the future of gaming belongs to the modders as the I.T community used to be in the 80s 90s (open source, indie) because you either "surrender your intellectual rights" or truly empty your pockets to dedicate to game developing without financial support. This politics/business is sure boring and some might think is out of context. A software developer might think otherwise.. a modder can see himself/herself as a software developer. even working remotely with people from different countries, and still able to achieve/create something. According to GSC original CEO: "I remembered the principle: if you want to do something but don't know what exactly, look at the others and don't do the same. Our market didn't demand intellect in those times, so we decided to target the western audience. Moreover, the CIS market was unstable after the 1998 crisis." Sergiy Grygorovych (GSC - hence the company's initials \ his own name) How could the small 4A team develop launch the metro series, then the remastered/HD + metro exodus (which, in a risky attempt to "re-create" itself, expand its original plot without falling in the "open-cliché-world trap"? And they were the ones having $$$ issues? *or so as it is said.. i don't think they "financial situation was the real reason" after all, it was when THQ had filled for bankruptcy and auctioned "everything") - maybe that's why we're getting "remakes, remasters" its about business and not really gaming. Ever wonder why writers never declared strike? because they can't rely on writing as a means to survive (except maybe Dostoevsky hehe) So modders are people commited to doing it because IF THEY DON'T DO IT, Who else will? It has been a decade since "we've been seeing the same patterns here and there" - internet, cinema, social media***, "big tech" Now it has been the "art of ripping off ppl while trying to make it not only "entertaining", but also educational when it comes to "ethical" grounds such as "coercive techniques... children begging parents a credit card subscription in something the "customer" is not interested. The customer doesn't even want to know, but also doesn't want kids crying over stupid monthly subscriptions of a digital service" - Companies don't even have to manufacture and ship physical units. just "stream"... people pay for something that's not owned (at least in the 90s we still had something) So how come they "fall short on money?" i don't understand. Do modders set fundraisers? yes, when they're onto something big and don't wanna abort the project. What we sadly most see is youtubers streamers making money off the modders's work. They monetize with content created by people WHO ARE UNABLE to earn what revenue could be earnt by monetization... thats ***** unfair isnt? ... And when a group of then do some achieve some groundbreaking success, they are either sued by lazy people "who pay to acquire intellectual property, so they can assure no one "develops something based on a concept". ... which is way i can't understand how stalker 2 is coming.. and why no russian localization will be available, neither its storyline, plot... i mean, it was not supposed to have anything to do with reactor number 4 and exclusion zone... (nor secret labs and foreign UN mercenaries lol) Seriously how can we say whether a "gameplay footage" is "real" and not some "breakthrough work-in-progress stuff" like we have seen here? modders exhausted all the possibilities of the old XRAY engine, and continue to surpass, create, even experiment with different engines, so up to this point WHO is more motivated to work on the sequel?
