Greetings to everyone in the East from the West. I recently installed Custom and Love...I mean Love the look and feel as it takes me back to SoC when it came out. I am however having a ton of difficulty with the gunplay. This may not be the place to post for help but I have to use Google Translate to even read posts here. Can someone please assist me with these issues I have. Before I get replies about sucking and to get better and so on I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R for the immersion and fun factor. I am having issues with the AI difficulty in regards to them having perfect aim and their site. They instakill me and see me at extreme ranges through objects. I have played with the in game settings without results. Is there a mod in the pack I can disable or download to make it easier? Also the radiation is overwhelming for me. I love everything else though and want to figure this out. Thank you in advance.

You may want to try to remove some of the addons that you do not care for. For me, I never cared for food animations. I do not care to see my legs when walking. How often do you stare at your feet? I don't care for melee or hand guns. Hide out furniture I think is silly. There are quite a bit of things that are novelties that I don't care for. Even remove some of the gun animations you know you never use. Start a new game when removing a lot of addons though. You will need to experiment. Certain things I had to turn back on because of crashes. I am already down to 270 addons with 2 I had included myself. I have an I7 6700K with a 3070 and it performs quite good for me. Not the best, but decent FPS. Good Luck!

I understand that a lot of people are feeling underwhelmed by the look of this game. I understand that it looks like a 2017 game. However, we do need to understand that they are also not Microsoft, Ubisoft or even Epic games....they are a small funded studio in comparison to the top 50 game studios out there. My big concern is the combat and gameplay. I will reserve my judgement until I play this. I remember when this was first announced that it was designed on an Unreal engine and will also be released on the Xbox. I was very upset with these at first. I just have to get over that and move on with acceptance. We have no choice. I know this game will have a cinematic console feel, however...it is still Stalker. My biggest excitement are going to be the mods. I know a lot of people will want to start making all sorts of add ons when they get access to its editor. This is where all the magic will shine for Stalker2. I can't wait to see Boomsticks and Sharpsticks, Expedition or even have some wild Artifact mods. This could have the potential to shift mostly everyone away from the old Xray to a more stable UE5. We all shall see......

After updating to the latest patch. I did notice that the overall world quality was not as good as before the patch. I did a shader cache purge which did help, but it still does not look as good as before the patch. Very strange. Also, the load times have gotten severely worse for me after the patch. I don't know why but they did get very bad on my end. There is a task that Beard gives you to look at the suspicious mutant activity at the Testing Workshop. In there you will confront Phantoms of Sidorovich and then later, a very large Burer. This is a very, VERY difficult task to accept if you are not prepared. I wished that with tasks like this, Beard would have hinted that I may want to bring a lot of hand grenades. I wished this game had the task provider would give a hint on what to expect in a situation like this by simply suggesting to bring a special weapon or something. With the constant dying and the very long reload times, I ended up using God Mode to finish it. I was very upset.

Remember, prior when Diablo IV was released, there was hours of in game footage on YT for the fans to make, want to purchase the game. If they show less, then they are not confident in their game and would be worried to show more which would result to leading in lesser sales.

So far I have put over 15 hours of play with no crashes. It has performed quite well considering how great it looks. This newer Anomaly Custom plays more harder than the previous version. The AI is very difficult in this. I like it. I like the new UI as it adds so much 'quality of life' features that makes it very convenient to use. Personally I am very happy that we had stayed with the original models of all NPCs and Mutants. The addons was reduced down to the best ones for stability and less crashing. Good choices here. My one main complaint is the Medical usages. They seem to offer very little benefit while hitting you mostly of its side effects. I guess this was to add a more 'hardcore' level of play until you acquire better suits later? There is a problem still that the Bar has 2 Snitch characters like in the previous Anomaly Custom . I need some help here if anyone can, please. What is the addon that affects you removing your helmet, backpack and those faction patches animations? I want to disable those. Also, if anyone knows, where are the textures for the 'dark side bars' when viewing through your weapon scope? I would appreciate any help on this one too. Thanks!!

Yeah, I still have it on my phone. I don't want to refresh it. Don't want to lose it. I am still trying to figure out on my end. Otherwise i'll just have to go with each and every mod translation on google one at a time. Pain in the ass.

Ha! I just downloaded your modpack. Yours definitely looks like it would be more enjoyable with the crazy weapons it has. It also appears like you can make your character build up to godlike equipment. It looks to have quite a bit of variable artifacts which is what I like the most. Bosspack seems to have more content overall. Your modpack I am sure will perform a lot better as well. However, I also really like a visually pleasing and atmospheric world as much. That is where Anomaly Custom shines. Having this built on top of EXPEDITION with all the other visuals makes this a very stunning world to play in. One can not deny that this looks damn good. I'm just loving this visuals. Never knew Xray can be pushed to its limits to look like this. My main question was.....where can I find these addons in the Mods folder here? I want to remove these...... Mutant Parts Quality Ledge Grabbing Advanced Stamina System Melee Degrade Configuration Weapon Cover Tilt GBOOBS Enhanced Recoil Revised I just can't translate all the folders from Russian. ? So many here that I don't understand. If I can start to exclude these from MOD2, my games load times will improve. Boss, I will certainly try yours after I get bored with this =)

Лучше просто начать играть, разве есть достойные альтернативы?(кроме ЛСК мод-пака, отличное дополнение но не готово ещё тоже). А в оригинал ОП после ОП ОГСР я больше никогда не вернусь. Говорю прямо и честно - это мод (даже на ОБТ версии) лучшее что когда - либо случалось с ОП, единственный минус для меня - так это то что некоторые задания всё равно нужно проходить с гидом, но это в конце будет, и то Разработчик сказал что на релизе исправит всё это. I am looking for someone who knows anything about scripting or editing spawns in STALKER SHOC, specifically for a mod called Radiophobia 3. The game world is too barren and un-dynamic for my tastes and I want more mutants to be running around and travelling through the levels. I am willing to pay whoever can do this. I don't see that as a reason to take it out on the people who make these games; I'm a modest translator and I see how much work goes into these modifications, so I make sure that the spirit of the designers isn't betrayed. It's often difficult, but you have to respect the work of others. I've noticed that on this forum, and unfortunately on many other games forums in particular, it's easier to criticise than to do. Sorry for typing in English, I'm from Portugal. I need some help with the game. I just picked up my second gun (the shotgun in the electrical tunnel) and I discovered something: with the shotgun equipped, the look sensitivity is lower/slower. I think this is intentional to simulate how the shotgun is heavier but it's really hard to play like this because I like to have a consistent sensitivity and this makes it impossible. I saw in the menu an option that says "weapon inertia", I'm not sure if this setting is related to the sensitivity because turning it on or off makes no difference. I just want the look sensitivity to be the same with all weapons, is there a way to do this? Thanks

I have finally beat the game and am quite pleased with the story. This is certainly the best Stalker mod when it comes to the story and plot. So many new characters added makes this amazing to want to interact with the new faces. And they look really good too! The story depth with all the new voices and cut scenes could have easily warranted a publisher sale as a fourth part to the series. The maps were very well done with great detail and lush foliage. Score was good as it added to the atmosphere of the maps. The UI, as many have stated is top notch and made it easy to transfer items. I really liked the idea of the stash contents that would follow you from one location to the other. This was really convenient. I had a very easy install and setup with zero crashes on my play through. This was the most stable mod for me. I do have one big gripe though and that was the combat in my opinion. I felt this mod did not do too well in this department as it should go hand in hand with the story. The two most vital aspects of every stalker mod. This lacked the stray random encounters of enemies that should have spawned more frequently. Especially doing side quests when you are running back and fourth during great distances. No encounters with stray factions except for over respawned mutants. And those certain moments where you did encounter large groups of enemies during the main story, you were either aided by someone that could have done all the fighting themselves, or you were in a situation where your gear was confiscated and you had to fight your way out with minimum to almost no gear. This was another problem with the combat was that I felt I could have easily won this game on low tier weapons and armor, of course with the exception to the end. *spoiler* However, with the constant stripping of your weapons and armor and the changing of characters when entering later chapters did not allow me to fully appreciate the use of my fully upgraded gear. This is why I felt I could have easily played this with lower tier gear and not invest too much time into obtaining and upgrading higher end gear. Overall I give this mod a good 9/10 and would urge any stalker mod fan to play this straight through. The whole story is amazing!
