I originally played shadow of chernobyl a long time ago (I think it was correct when it came out) and not very long, because I was too young to understand the complexity and subtleties of the game. all of a sudden I had the urge to return to the show. my question for you guys is what mods do you recommend? I'm looking for a complete sandbox, playing in my own way, like what name of chernobyl or anomaly suggests (I need a recom speed test mendation which b one to c showbox hoose). I'm also looking for new and better weapons and sounds, realistic weapon damage, more clothing and gear. something that will potentially fix the usual AI crap. modernization of graphics. If you guys could give me some advice and also explain why I should choose “call of chernobyl” or “anomaly”, I would appreciate it!

  13. You people here need to understand that this is all a business. They are a studio that needs to make a profit. It's all about money. To get their profits they will have to aim for a particular audience. A console fan that wants a fast paced, intense game. Not a very slow paced, too open world where there is too much atmosphere. They will not appeal to a hardcore demographic. Again, it's a business to make money. I just hope that there's a middle ground here that can work for all of us. Hopefully they will provide modders with all the tools they need for full customization. Provide us will all materials used and unused. Even share us with different build of maps that did not make the cut. Anything to throw in that would help improve the mod community...........because that is what made this game popular today!!

  16. @RayTwittyDid you know you can go early to Dead City from Yantar and wonder the level without the bandits and mercs attacking the player? What's even funnier is that if you go to the merc base, open the cell on the second floor and go inside, one of the mercs will close it and will get me stuck in there forever ?
  17. I was wondering since it's been bothering me through the entire playthrough, why is the night vision for both 1st gen and 2nd gen worse than it is in vanilla SoC? There is no real benefit of using them but the funny thing is, if you bring out the binoculars or look through scopes, it's actually better ? I've also noticed that even in pitch black, enemies can detect me (see me and hear me) sneaking from a greater distance so the new visibility mechanic ported from builds like 2571 from the looks of it isn't very useful... Not sure if this is also a vanilla issue with SoC or it's mod related. Got used to how sneaking works in SoC with the ZRP ?
