Is there a chance that sometime in the future you'll update Dead City with a newer version (preferably with the one from 2571). Not sure from which build the current one is from but it's clear that the player height was much smaller at that point, not to mention gaps in the level and other bugs, I remember that in my last playthrough that all the grenades I threw simply didn't explode and it happened only in Dead City. Also, is this fixed?

Hello, I started the Memories DLC after completing the main story of the Adventures. On the first main map with the rebel base, for the first time in all the time playing Stalker Mod, I had serious performance problems. Even when I'm in static lighting with minimal settings, the frame rate is 10-20 fps. Worst of all, this happens at a crashed helicopter in a pond. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Personally, I would advise you to not to waste your time on anything related to the Stalker engine. It's bad from a technical point of view, and its licensing is bad as well. If you still think that it's worth doing, my suggestion would be to take OGSR and try to translate that. OP-2.2 is based on a (modified?) version of OGSR, so they should share a lot of technical quirks, including your translation problems. But, unlike OP-2.2, the stock OGSR version has its source code published, which means that you'd be able to debug the whole stack and find the source of the problem. TBH, though, localization setup in Stalker is super-bad, even for a game developed in the 90s.

gibe Yes, you already forget about these "special sets", this question has already been asked many times. To repair and modify ANY armor, "Armor consumables" are used - common, rare and unique. For weapons it's the same. All specialized consumables are a vestige of the old version, only for sale.

You can, if you want. Replace grass texture in levels folder and delete trees textures folder. If you want change the textures by yourself, you need to install Photoshop DDS plugin.

The point is not in 'trying' the product - as you noted, it's not there, there's hardly anything to 'try'. The point is to check out how various things are implemented - for some, with a view to build their mods later on. This is a game modding community, after all. Plus, I don't see how checking out this leak now could interfere with supporting the team when the game is released. If the team allows it, y'know.

@Pastalker56 Nice list but some of those changes aren't very "vanilla friendly" for what this fan patch tries to keep though I do like the idea of camp fires being lit only when NPCs are nearby, along with some other things you mentioned 🙂 I remembered something, why does Mole (and now his entire group with the latest version) has to vanish from the game once you level change? He's not that important as a character and he has a unique pistol that vanishes with him. I'd rather have him and his group move to the Agroprom complex where Loners gather. Speaking of the Agroprom complex, I don't see why soldiers keep spawning there, I think 1/2 (sometimes 3) bloodsuckers and bandit attacks are enough for the Loners, the soldiers are overkill 😁
